Day 1: Arrival Day = Sugar, Sunsets & Bushwackers
Check in, drop your bags at Dockside Days, and immediately go admire your life choices. Then walk across the street to the Pensacola Beach Cross for your first sunset. It’s peaceful, it’s iconic, and it’s basically your new nightly ritual.
Next stop: Kilwins. Order the pecan praline. Don’t overthink it.
Dinner = Peg Leg Pete’s. If there’s live music, stay longer. If there isn’t, still stay. And yes—you’re getting a Bushwacker. It’s not optional.
Day 2: Beach Day + 99¢ Taco Victory
Wake up, grab coffee, and watch for dolphins from Dockside Days at Villa Sabine. They’re regulars here.
Then head across the street to the beach. No driving. No stress. Just sun, sand, and “we should’ve done this sooner” energy.
Dinner is at Taco Rock for Taco Tuesday with 99¢ tacos. Eat more than you planned. That’s the rule.
Day 3: Planes, Views & Irish Pub Glory
On your way off the beach, stop at Maker’s Coffee Pensacola for coffee and lunch. It’s perfectly placed en route to NAS and very much worth it.
Then explore the National Naval Aviation Museum and climb the Pensacola Lighthouse for views that make your camera roll very happy.
Lunch happens at the museum at the Cubi Bar Café (10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
Dinner? McGuire’s Irish Pub.
Happy Hour: 4–6 PM daily 3–6 PM Fridays
Half-price drafts, wine, and well drinks.
Order the Shepherd’s Pie and share a pretzel like seasoned pros.
Day 4: Zoo Day + Sloths + Flounder’s Fun
Today you’re headed to the Gulf Breeze Zoo. Yes, you should feed the sloths. Yes, it’s adorable. Yes, you’ll talk about it the rest of the trip.
On the way back, stop at Flounder’s Chowder House for a late lunch or early dinner. Bonus points if there’s a local band playing—because there usually is.
Day 5: Dolphins, Drinks & Sunset Drama
Time for a Dolphin Cruise. These leave from Pensacola Beach and are easy to book—we’re happy to point you to trusted local operators after you book with Book Pcola Beach.
Afterward, clean up and head to Drift for sunset happy hour:
Wednesday–Sunday, 4–6 PM
Pro tip: Order the lamb lollipops with fries and enjoy one of the best sunset views on the island while feeling extremely proud of your life choices.
Day 6: Smash Burgers & One More Bushwacker
Lunch at The Reef = smash burgers. No notes. Just do it.
If you want something easy and close to home, The Neighborhood Bar (run by Kevin and Cristina) is a great local spot—and you can even grab it to-go.
Later? Back to Peg Leg Pete’s. Because yes, you absolutely need one more Bushwacker before you leave.
Day 7: Laguna’s + Grand Finale at The Grand Marlin
Spend your last beach day at Laguna’s Beach Bar + Grill—sun, food, drinks, and that “I don’t want to go home” feeling.
For your farewell dinner, go big at The Grand Marlin. Try to time it with sunset. It’s beautiful, it’s delicious, and it’s the perfect send-off to your Pensacola Beach week.
